The 10th Qingdao International Sailing Week exchange programme which is partnered by South African Sailing Western Cape, the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport – Western Cape Provincial Government(DCAS) and The Sports Bureau of Shandong Province China, saw the delegation of young Optimist sailors traveling to Qingdao in August. This edition of this long standing and successful programme, coincided with the Qingdao International Marine Festival 2018.
This programme has proven to be hugely successful for both provinces involved and for the young sailors who participate within it.
