Good evening from the WC Optimist Committee.
We are busy planning the WC Champs 24-27 of April. We are gridlocked regarding the venue. Therefore we request your vote. We have to decide if we want an away regatta or host it here in Cape Town. George Lakes Yacht Club is the away option and are happy to host us. ZVYC and MAC have both offered to host the “home” regatta. Each registered Oppi SA member has one vote. Voting closes Monday, 15.02.2021 at 23.59.
So please reply with either GLYC for the away venue or MAC or ZVYC for the home venue.
Again: you need to be a registered member of the Optimist Class in order to vote. If you have not registered with the class we will post a link on this group.
