AGM, WC Optimist Association

Dear Member,

Attached is the Notice of AGM of the WC Optimist Association.

18.00 for 18.30 – Friday 2nd Sept – Royal Cape Yacht Club.

A separate email will go out to non and prospective members, but please bring anyone who has an interest in Optimist sailing along with you. The more the better, but only paid up members may vote.

The current Western Cape representatives are as follows

• Chairman – Cal Tomlinson (Hermanus YC)
• Deputy Chairperson – Paul Tyler (Milnerton Aquatic Club)
• Treasurer – Gavin Ashwell (Zeekoevlei YC)
• Secretary – Karen Slater (Zeekoevlei YC)

All have indicated their willingness to continue these roles. However a nomination form is attached. Please fill in your nominations with seconder and bring to the AGM to be handed to the secretary (Karen Slater),  PRIOR to the commencement of the meeting for voting as per the agenda. Please make sure your nominee is aware of his/her nomination and has accepted – no railroading! If no nominations are received, it shall be deemed that the present representatives are elected unopposed.
