With Youth Nationals around the corner, parents are reminded that to be eligible for Selections for the Africans and Worlds Teams sailors need to have competed in at least two Provincials. Should a sailor not be able to compete in two Provincials for a health or personal reason application must be made to the EXCO. This appeal can be made up to one month before the Provincial or up to 3 days after the Provincial provided a valid entry to the Provincial can be produced.
The final Provincial will take place in the Eastern Cape at Pine Lake Marina on the 1st and 2nd October 2016.
The Youth Nationals and Selections 2016 will be held at Theewaters Sports Club from the 10th to the 16th December 2016. Please note the annual Optimist National AGM will take place at this event. The date and time will be announced at the event.
Please forward nominations for Class President, Class Secretary, Class Treasurer, Regional Representatives, Class Manager and National Coach to Shellee Nel email@example.com
Broken leg policy: As it is compulsory for sailors to attend at least
2 provincials, please note the following: If for some

arrangement having been made and deposits etc having been paid.
This appeal will then be considered by the executive committee and
each submission will be dealt with according to its own individual
