So where and how did it all start?

Let’s take a look back at how some of our team started their sailing adventure . . .

Adrian Rautenbach

Hi guys thought let’s lighten things up and do some fun today. Post a picture of our SA team your child when they were small and started learning to sail. In picture is Adrian learning to capsize in a pool. He was soo tiny.

Thomas Henshilwood

Thomas learning the ropes at Zandvlei on a Terra (Oct 2016 – age 7). He joined the Oppie fleet at ZVYC shortly after. He loved capsizing in these boats.

Arin Long

Thought I’d jump bandwagon as well just to help the gees. My brothers teaching me how to sail. Me in the front, Dylan in the middle and Tiran teaching – fun fact I still have this Oppie….

Max Malan

Malan’s getting to know the Optimist on the Vaaldam.

Jack Cumming

Jack – Rookie of the year at Hermanus Yacht Club… he was the only rookie I might add.

JP Buys
